    Tasks in this program

    Intro & Scenario
Meet your team members and learn about your project goals.
    Your role
    • You are working as a client services representative at The New York Times (NYT).
    • You play an important role in driving revenue for NYT by selling ad space to potential NYT clients for our print products, but most importantly, for the digital NYT news media platform.
    Your goal
    • You will get experience contacting potential clients (cold calling/cold emailing) to discuss ad opportunities. This will require researching a potential client's business and then using some of that information to craft an email to inspire them to explore advertising with NYT.
    • You will also get some experience with the initial planning stages of the proposal process, where you will prepare an agenda for an internal NYT meeting, which would kickstart the preparation and submission of an actual client proposal.
